Is anyone sending out announcements?  We are having a super small wedding (20 guests) and I am taking his name, so I def. want to let people know my name has changed and let our relatives who were not invited know that we got married.  I do not want to look gift grabby-- I'm just excited that we are doing this and want to spread the news.  So, two questions:

1. Does this look gift grabby?

2. If you sent announcements, what did they look like/ what was your wording?

we are planning a small wedding as well, with only immediate family and planning on sending announcements to friends and other family members.  I agree with the pp that it isn't gift grabby at all, as long as you dont put in anything about regerstries or anything like that.

I too, have been looking for wording help... this is an example that I found and like.

  and

  announce their marriage

It's fine to send them but remember they do go out after you've tied the knot and not a day before.
