Wedding Invitations & Paper

Is this a good price?

I sound a seller on Etsy and her stationary is adorable and fits our theme very well. I broke it down, and at the quantities I'll be purchasing it would come out to $2.85 per set. Each set include one of the following: invitation, RSVP card, save the date magnet, and a blank envelope.
To me this seems a little expensive as I've been strictly watching my budget. However, I'm trying to convince myself to splurge a little for these. What do you girls think? My origional plan was to order some seal-and-sends for about $1.20 per and just not do a save the date.

More info and links can be given if requested

Also, I have not actually contacted this seller yet, all prices were based on her standards on her website.

[QUOTE]How many invitations will you need to order? It sounds like a decent price but if it's making you think twice, I would look around some more before making a final decision.

Right now we're estimating around 100. My mom is currently reviewing the guest list and we're hoping to have a final count by next week

<div>Wow, it must be a big wedding! You sure 100 is not the number of guests? You usually need to send 1 invitation per family. We're inviting about 150 and we need only about 55 invitations. But anyway, I think $2.85 per invitation (with all those included) seem pretty good. I guess you can ask for a prorated amount if you're not doing the STD magnets..?</div>

I do have a huge family! Love them but it's been a pain wedding planning because of all of them. Right now we're trying to maybe group some invites together, like what to considered a "family". Do you know if full grown children with children of their own could still fall under their parents names? lol I'll probably be in the etiquette board here soon.<div>Thank though. I've been reviewing my budget and I'm pretty sure we can afford them. </div>

    <div>We invited 170 people, and sent out 100 invitations.</div><div>
</div><div>Try contacting the seller to see what her price would be without the Save the Dates since you were going to try to save money by not doing them. Remember to budget in postage for the save the dates, your invitations, and don't forget the postage on the rsvps. </div>

  • Anyone over 18 needs their own invitation.

I would contact the seller and ask her if she will give you that package without the STD and see what the price is.  If it's a magnet STD, I'm sure that will bring the cost down a lot more.  Also, you are less than 6 months to your wedding and STDs are supposed to be sent out 6-9 months before the wedding.

Dang,I forgot about stamps for everything. I'll have to check and make sure that the invites are standard size and won't require extra shipping won't I. As Postcards the RSVPs only need one stamp right?
