RSVP Question

I am getting married August 21st and am working on my invites. For the "RSVP by", I am unsure of how long before the wedding I should have them in. 2 weeks, 3 weeks? Less than that?

    Find out when your caterer/venue needs a final head count.  Back up about a week from there.  They normally ask for this at about 10 days, so it puts you at 2/3 weeks.

    I'm doing a month out from my wedding date - my venue needs the headcount two weeks prior. This will give me plenty of time to follow-up on the stragglers.
