Wedding Invitations & Paper

Reception on Invite

Hi Ladies,

Sorry if this is an odd question but I am clueless with wording an invitation.  From lurking on this board I have gotten the general feel for it.  This is what I have so far...

Mr and Mrs Brides Father
Request the honour of your precence at the marriage of their daughter
Bride Middle name
and
Groom Middle name
Son of Ms. Grooms Mother and the late Grooms father

Saturday the twentieth of October two thousand and twelve
at three o'clock in the afternoon
Church name
Church Adress

So now much question is do I need to put on there something about "Reception to follow at Blankety Blank 1234 city, state at such and such a time"?

Im just confused as to whether or not the reception details go on the invitation or if they go elsewhere?

Thanks!
I've loved you since I was 8 years old...

  • Reception cards are contemporary

    "Reception immediately to follow
    Location Name
    Location Address"

used to be very normal invitation wording. Then there'd be a line about RSVP
