When to send STDs?

Hi my wedding is in June and I am hvaing anxiety about the Save The Dates.  I have a lot of out of towners and want the STD's out ASAP.  I probably wont get them back from the printer until mid to end December.  Is it ok to send the STD's out in January for a June 11th Wedding?  or is it considered late? Thanks. Also, when should the invitations be sent?  I was thinking April would be ok...

    That's fine....they usually go out 6-8 months ahead of time.

    Jan should be okay for your STDs.
    Your invites should go out 6-8 weeks before the wedding but keep in mind your RSVP date when sending them. For our July wedding we are sending them out in the beginning of May with our RSVP due back 4 weeks before the wedding.
