Have you or when do you plan on asking people to be BMs, GMs, MOH etc.?

We have our wedding part figured out already. I had previously asked my sister to be my MOH when we first got engaged (4 yrs ago) and then after Christmas we asked everyone else to be a part of our day.

All of my bridesmaids have been asked (we actually just purchsed all of their dresses yesterday). My MOH was asked the day I got engaged. FI has yet to ask any of his guys yet.

I've asked most of my BMs- still have two to ask as well as a personal attendant. I gave them a bottle of wine with the poem: "As I prepare for the day I'm to be a bride, it would mean the world to have you sipping by my side: will you be my bridesmaid?" Gotta love pinterest ideas!

I have not asked my BM's yet but I am also doing something like RDR with their favorite bottle of wine with a custom label that will say will you be my bridesmaid. My BFF will ask will you be my MOH. I am not sure when I am going to ask but I am sure it will be soon.

I asked my MOH two weeks ago (when I could see her in person) and one of my BMs last week. They're the only two I know for sure  and they've gone dress shopping with me and generally been helpful so I thought it only right to ask them now.

My bridesmaids/MOHs consist of my sisters and my FSIL. I haven't officially asked my FSIL but she technically knows, its just kind of awkward all around because she is 10 so we'll see. FI hasn't asked any of his guys yet though.

I initially asked mine about 5 months after FI and I got engaged in anticipation of our original date. Since then one of my original BMs has dropped off the face of the earth and has cut everyone she knew out of her life, so it's safe to say she's no longer a BM.

We figured our WP pretty quickly.  We decided against having a big WP.  We really wanted people who had always been in our lives and who would always be in our lives.  My friend Tommy is going to be my man of honor- he and I have been best friends since we were 3 years old.  FI is having his sister be his "best lady".  They both already know and Tommy's been super involved in the wedding stuff with us.

Did the same thing. Bought The Knot "Will you be my Bridesmaid cards for 50 cents at the party store For my Maid of Honor and 1 of my Bridesmaids gave them a bottle of wine saying.. As I prepare for my Big day to be a Bride..I will need you sipping by my side.. Since we LOVE Wine that is what they got. My sister and future sister in laws I made them cake pops and gave the card, my junior bridesmaid and flower girl I gave the card and a cupcake from the local bakery. My one bridesmaid lives in a different state so I sent her the card when she comes home for her baby shower one weekend I will give her a little somthing too. Sooooo excited

I already asked my BM's. I planned a little dinner where they could all get together and gave them each a little bridesmaids handbook wrapped in pink paper with a little wedding poem on the front, and a handwritten note to each of them. I started with 3. one of whom didn't make it to the dinner so I gave it to her later...turns out she dropped out of being in the wedding anyway. But it's all good, I'm happy with my MOH (little sister) and BM (best friend since 6th grade).

I asked 2 of my bridesmaids right after I had already planned a trip to NY where they both live so when I flew out we spoke privately I let them know how much they mean to me an it would be an honor if they would be my bridesmaid.

For my MOH she's in Mass I called her an spoke for a whiel lol

I have another person in mind to ask waiting on timing and I'm set

I asked my MOH and BMs after I called them all about the engagement.  My FI also picked out his best man and GM within the week of our engagement.  Its going to be a little difficult working out group stuff because they are scattered across states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland).  My FI's group is much easier as all of them live within a 1 hour drive.
