Ok so I have had my dress for over a year now even though we have only been dating for 6 months and haven't been engaged for very long. It's a long story. I was engaged over a year ago but kicked my now ex out after he put my son and I's life in danger (and some other things). I had already bought the dress though. I hadn't gotten rid of it because it was at my moms and I just put it out of my mind.
After I got engaged my mom asked me if I was going to wear the same dress and I wasn't sure. So my FI and I talked and he said that if I was in love with the dress that I should keep it and wear it. He said that since my ex never saw the dress he didn't have a problem with me wearing it if I really wanted to. I have decided to keep it.
I REALLY love this dress. I have lost 35lbs since I purchased it so I'm excited to see me in it now
