What are you thinking about doing for favors?

We have blue / white poker chips with our names and date on them, they are so cute!! 

Also, our wedding is Beatles themed, so our tables are going to be Beatles songs, and I'm going to pin a beatles pin matching the table name to each person's napkin.

That's such a good favor for Las Vegas!  

I love your Beatles theme too!  We're probably going to end up using a lot of Beatles music at our reception because we enjoy it so much.

We're doing mini bottles of homemade limoncello.

I'm another huge Beatles fan - I want to cut the cake to When I'm 64, but FI is poo-pooing that idea.

not 100% sure but thinking maybe cake pops or cookies to go along with a donation to charity?

These are all good ideas.  At this point we're leaning towards a candy buffet.  

stardust- that is such a good cake cutting song!

mrsrutkowski- I made cake pops for our engagement party favors last year.  They were a huge hit, and we had a lot of people take more than one since I made 4 different flavors.  If I knew I would have time I would make cake pops and chocolate covered oreos in our colors, but I imagine that will add too much stress too close to the wedding.

We are doing a huge dessert buffet. (FMIL is a pastry chef and is literally making our dessert spread bigger than our buffet.  It's fine with us. =P) So mixed into the dessert buffet we are going to have a small candy bar.  Maybe 4-5 different candies in containers to allow guests to take home candy as well as a slice of cake, pastry, ect.  We are using mason jars with handles for our drinking glasses, so guests will be able to bring home their glass from the evening as well.  I played around with the idea of doing something else, but honestly, I think I'm just racking up more costs for something that isn't necessary after we have these two things.

I'm thinking of skipping the favors. A friend got married 2 weeks ago and said less than half of her guests took their favors home. It seems like a waste of effort/money to me, to be honest.

We are having a dessert buffet and we are putting take home containers so guests can take goodies home. We are also having a pink lobster lollipop at everyone's place setting and a photo booth that will print a strip for the guests to take.

I agree we are skippung favors too but I guess you can consider our photobooth a favor but thats more so me wanting one and getting a groupon for it. But everyone wedding ive been to if they had favors  A LOT were left behind. last wedding they had little candles lets just say I have like 9 of them bc so many ppl left them behind and I felt bad so i took a bunch and i dont even use them

We're doing a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of my FI's mom who passed away 12 years ago from brain cancer. We are giving all the guests bookmarks that explain the donation.

We are having a photobooth so we are making photostrip frames for people to take their pictures home in!

We were thinking of doing dry dip mixes and packing them sorta like this. Of course they wouldnt have the pinup girls on them lol

I wasn't planning to do favors at first, since I've never been to a wedding where I was at al linterested in having the favor.

But then my FI suggested bags of dice and since most of our friends are role playing gamers, I thought it was perfect!

And if people don't take them, it's not a waste because we can always use more dice.

We will be having a photobooth also so I am glad I seen this post I will not have to worry about favors and use the pics from the photobooth instead....How will you guys be making the frames?
