A few questions for other GRANDVIEW BRIDES

Hi,

I'm getting married at the Grandview in about 3 months and I just wanted to know if any Grandview brides had any tips...what do you wish you prepared, any surprises, etc?

Also, did they provide menus at each setting and BOTH escort & place cards? Any tips or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated

congrats. the place is beautiful. I was at a wedding there.

I got married there in Oct 2012, they were amazing to work with.
They provided menus at every place setting and they provide escort cards but you have to fill them out yourself. They don't provide place cards but if you provide them ( i think you mean you want to assign seats at tables along with assigning tables) they will put them out for you. When you go in for your final meeting just give them instructions on what you have provided and where you want it and they set it up perfectly.
As for the day of I had 2 maitre d's and they were my right and left hand, helping me do stuff before i even thought about it.

All of this! I am a Grandview August 2011 bride- everything was PERFECT!

The menus are really nice, you can change how your name is displayed. They also showed me a sample where a bride had her monogram that was just throughout her wedding put on the menus.

I've said this a million times, but I felt like anything I asked for, they could do for me- so just ask! I bet they would even do place cards if you wanted somehow (we did not do these and did our own seating chart).
