Still here and still fabulous!

• Liv! I have that HRM on my birthday list (which is, um, in August)... I'm glad you liked it so much! and those cals are in addition to your BMR calories? I also did 30DS L1 last night for the first time in close to a year. I've been doing the JM yoga for my strength training. I was stronger this time doing 30DS than I was last year, so that was exciting.

under the advisement of my GP while we get my PMDD in control, I'm not supposed to be counting calories at all. it's been hard! I've been reading a book called Intuitive Eating; it's really interesting.

• GP: basically, we talked about me just eating when I'm hungry (PMDD is notorious for those panicky-hungry-ravenous days when nothing will fill me up) and making smart choices. it's probably worth asking about the ratios; I did that before when I counted cals. the past few days have been great. I have eaten more treats than normal (my dad's bday plus Easter stuff), but for the most part when I add up the cals after the fact (just curious about how much I was eating), they are pretty in line with what I should be eating.

Intuitive Eating: it's about breaking the unhealthy relationships we have with food, learning to recognize and trust our bodies to tell us when/what/how much to eat. once you've completed the different stages, your body will find its natural weight (for most people, that is losing weight and getting to a healthy "normal" BMI naturally). it's a fun read.

I love my HRM. I was using a cheapo one until DH got me a Polar (I forget the model number) for my bday. I love knowing exactly what my burn is.

B: 1 egg + 2 egg whites, 2tbsp salsa, ww english muffin, butter, coffee (283 cal)
S: 15 almonds, 2 prunes (154 cal)
L: Turkey and swiss w/mustard and mayo on sandwich thin, baby carrots, grapefruit (426 cal)
S: Chobani Black Cherry (150 cal)
D: Don't know - we're going to the grocery store, so I'll either eat something random (pb&j? eggs?) before we go or we'll pick something up quick (~500 cal?)
S: ?? need to make up another 300 or so cals

E: Shoulders and arms + Ab Ripper X (HRM: 635 cal)
• Liv: I'm really enjoying it. I haven't got too far in it yet (I'm on pg. 41) but it just makes sense! hope you can find it on the kindle. I picked it up at the library, but I'll probably end up buying my own copy eventually if I like it enough.

[QUOTE]Coco, I think I'm going to pick up that book. Or maybe it's downloadable on Kindle. Cschiano, I'm glad you love your Polar, too! Buggle was so patient with me last night as I sent her text after text of my workout readouts because I was so excited.

That is awesome :) I was already so impressed with your dedication to this new method of eating. And now your're adding in the exercise, which is really great! After the first two days of 30DS for me I always can't walk for 3 days afterwards. I wonder how I'd be at it now. . .
• 30DS: I am definitely sore today. I did JM yoga on Monday and 30DS last night. I plan to do 3.25 mi cardio, and I'll just do 5-10 min of walking to warm up and see where I'm at... if I have to walk more than usual, that's okay.

the only thing that you might run into, Liv, is since you're not consuming large amounts of carbs right now, you may not have the same endurance for C25K, especially throwing in 30DS. so if you find that you aren't quite as fast or feel as good doing it as you used to, don't beat yourself up. just do what you can! carbs are what give us that energy to do moderate to heavy amounts of cardio, and even cardio/strength like 30DS. this is why some people like to carb-up! listen to your body!
• Coco, I have a book for eating on the "endometriosis diet" but it's pretty much just clean eating and anti-inflammatory foods. I have it as a pdf if you're interested.

Liv, you're awesome - I don't know if I can do the whole keto diet thing, I just love my cards too much, and don't have enough willpower! However, I've only dropped one pound in the past 2 weeks of sticking almost perfectly to my calorie budhet and working out 5 days a week, so maybe I'll have to try something new soon....

B: Coffee with cream and sugar, plus a bite of the yummy pancake I made for BF: 289
L: Blueberry raspberry smoothie (with greek yogurt and Silk Almond): 205
S: Apple: 80
D: No idea, hopefully going out someplace nice for sushi or thai: (727 calorie allowance)

E: 17 minute Ab Ripper X workout (burning 40ish calories, probably more)

ETA: Buddy you're awesome tooooooo!!!!!!!!! Congrats!

• I think you'll find the Intuitive Eating interesting then, Liv. it talks about ketosis. :) either way, good luck on 30DS and C25K!
• Liv, can you tell me more about your new diet? I know you've probably discussed it recently but I missed it and I'm curious. :)

I'm not really counting calories right now, just focusing on getting more protien, healthy fats, fewer carbs.

B - sandwich thin, egg, avocado
L - tilapia w/tomatoes
S - apple; nuts, raisin, coconut flakes "trail mix"
D - chicken lime avocado soup
