Champagne and orange?

I bought my dress on Tuesday and its a champagne color...it's absolutely gorgeous! But my fianc and I wanted to do bright orange and bright pink for our colors. I'm a little nervous now that the colors won't work out with my dress but we really love the colors. What do you guys think?

Re: Champagne and orange?

  • I think it would be lovely. Can we see a picture of your dress??
  • Champagne is neutral and therefore goes with everything. But personally I hate orange and pink together, particularly when both are bright. But that's just my opinion.

  • http://www.essensedesigns.com/essenseofaustralia/dresses/detail/D1463 It's essense designs style d1463 in champagne. It looks more like a dark ivory though because the tulle overlay is actually ivory. I fell in love with it as soon as I looked in the mirror.
  • If they're going to be soft shades of orange and pink (more like orange blossom and rose than orange peel and hot pink) I think it would look really pretty- like a garden :)

    I love this idea!

I was in a wedding where the couple used bright orange and fuschia.  It was ok but kind of bright.  Now if their wedding was taking place on a tropical beach then it would have fit perfectly.

  • Yeah bright orange and bright pink makes me think of a young teenage girl's bedroom, but I like sydaries's suggestion.
