Vendor Reviews

Ok, now the wedding is over, no more planning...only one thing left to do: Review my vendors. Let me just say that my wedding was fabulous and I had the best time of my life. I am so happy that I am finally married I cannot express with enough words my gratitude to all my friends and family who came together to make this happen. Here are the vendors who went above and beyond to make my wedding day dream come true:

- The Solarium at Old Scottish Rite (http://www.thesolarium.com/): Love the venue, love the location, loved the staff. It was very affordable and they allowed me to bring in my own caterer/alcohol which saved me a lot of money. It was a little challenging getting with the staff at first to finalize the contract but other than that it was smooth sailing.

- I got my Wedding Dress at David's Bridal in Buckhead. I had heard mixed reviews about DB, but they made me feel very comfortable, they had the dress I loved at an affordable price.

-  Catering by A Divine Event (http://www.adivineevent.com/ ): Simply delicious. Unfortunately only got about 3 bites to eat because of everything going on but everyone seems to have loved them.

- Hair and Make Up was done by Dawn at Atlanta Makeup Couture (http://makeupcouture.com/) She was great and very patient to work with a bride like me. The most important thing is they did all the girls and were able to keep us on time.

- Nima Farsinejad Photography http://www.nimafarsinejad.com/  I cannot say enough great things about Nima. We are not the most photogenic people (Haha!) but I know photography was an extremely important thing. I probably looked at hundreds of photographers online and the few I liked were priced beyond my budget. I asked one of my friends who got married a couple of years ago and she had used Nima as well. He was helpful beyond words. We clicked immediately on our first appointment and after looking at his portfolio I knew he had the experience at a price I could afford. Our engagement session was lots of fun and I never felt rushed. He offered us a complimentary photo booth setup and also had a second photographer who was amazing as well. When I got my wedding pictures back I almost cried. He captured the day beautifully. Everything happened so fast that I barely paid attention to all those details I had planned so carefully. Nima and his team were able to capture it all. I would recommend him to anyone who is planning their wedding (FYI, he is not paid advertiser on the Knot, so you won't find him here).

I hope this helps some of the brides out there trying to plan their wedding. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

  • I got my dress at David's in Buckhead too. I loved the experience! They were unlike any other David's I have been to.

What about your florist? Anyone you would recommend?

<div>Florist was a recommendation from the photographer. Her name is April but she doesn't have a website. I will send you her contact info in a private message. </div>
