Officant

No one ever makes a post about thier officant and thats the one missing link in my wedding!!  FI and I are different faiths and can't get married by my minister.  Any suggestions?

    Call your local courthouse, they may have a list of retired judges that would be willing to perform your ceremony.

    Also, at least in Fulton Co, anyoen who is ordained by the Universal Life Church online can marry you as well.  We were in the probate court office last week and they said that Universal Life was fine, just as long as the person was ordained.  It's free, too, I think.  If you have any friends who are good speakers, you might try that as well!
