Catering recs!

Hi ladies!

My fiance and I are getting married in Chisago City next January and are looking for a caterer. We've spoken with Chow Girls and the food looks delicious but it's definitely at the upper end of our budget (they quoted us at about $45-50 a head when all is said and done). We can probably fit it into our budget because we're cutting costs in a lot of other ways but I was just wondering if anyone else had a good recommendation for some good cozy winter comfort food!

Thanks for your help!

I have a Chinook Book coupon for Chowgirls that I think is for 10% off your catering order. <div>

Oh! Now I need to find out how to get my hands on Chinook Book.

Our venue is in Ojiketa Park in Chisago City. They'll let us bring in whatever we want so no restrictions there. Right now Chowgirls quoted us a number that figures out to be about $45 per person so we're just trying to see what other places we should check out that have great reviews like Chowgirls but maybe smaller per person figures. I was hoping it would be closer to $30 per person. We won't need to use their rentals at all so that would just be for cocktail hour munchies, dinner, and service.
  • They sell Chinook Books at Whole Foods for $20, it's like a Happenings coupon book but for local, sustainable businesses. Can also download the app and have mobile coupons.

I'd also look into Divine Swine Catering & Brasa!

  • Thanks! We've definitely got Brasa on our list of places to check out.
