Tipping the calligrapher??

I had a calligrapher address all of my invites, because of the issues I've had with getting the invites here I had to use a different calligrapher I found through Etsy. She is local to me, and I am paying her a rush fee and paying her in cash since I'm meeting her in person today to pick up the envelopes. I'm wondering if I need to tip her?? Ifi had done everything through etsy, when I had paid there would not of been an option to tip, so I am confused!!

I've never heard of tipping a calligrapher, and since she sets her own fees, I'd say no. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Nope, youre paying a rush fee, in cash and saving her a trip to the post office.. I think tipping is only for like bartenders, servers, and salon services... But I too could be wrong

I am pretty sure the wedding "rule" is that if someone works for themselves, i.e. a photographer, DJ, or your caligrapher; you don't need to tip them. They set their rates and pay themselves.
