There are a lot of different shops. Did you have a specific designer or budget in mind? That might help narrow it down.

I went to MB Bride in Greensburg because they have a very large selection.

I actually found my dress at White Orchid in the South Hills on 51. (I ended up ordering somewhere else, however that  shop is now closed).

What area are you looking in?

There's Bridal Beginnings - my daughter and I went there -- but we had some issues with the store and staff and ended up purchasing her gown at Catan's Bridal in Strongsville, Ohio:

Yes - it was a bit of a drive --- but the price and the service couldn't be beat!

There's some bridal shops up in Butler:

    and Arnella Bridal: http://arnellas.com/

I went to Babe's Broadway Bridal in New Kensington. They gave me a great price on my dress and my BM dresses. She matched the lowest price I found in the Pittsburgh area for my BM dresses.

I went to bridal beginnings last week to schedule an appointment for this weekend. I was there waiting to talk with someone for 25 minutes and no one asked if I needed help or said hello, so I left. :( thank you for the suggestions.

    Crystal ,

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience , I actually ended up buying from Bridal Beginnings.  I made an appointment over the phone about a week prior and went during one of their Maggie Sottero trunk shows.  They were very helpful for me.

If you are still looking I would also recommend Anne Gregory For the Bride in Mt Lebanon. (http://www.annegregorybrides.com/#start) I can't recall the name of the lady that helped me but she was great.  Showed me a bunch of dresses that were very flattering.  I really loved one of their all lace gowns but it would have killed my budget.

I just thought of one more place.  Clarissa Boutique in the South Side on E. Carson Street near 17th Street.  I have heard great reviews about them, I am getting alterations done there but I also know they sell dresses there as well.
