Yet another question about shower gifts

Okay, my shower is drawing nearer and I'd like to pick up a couple of gifts soon.

My MOH is hosting the shower (I'd imagine her name is on the invitation, but I will not be receiving or seeing an invitation as she'd like to keep the party details a surprise). However, her mom, my mom, one of my other BMs, and three of my mom's friends are all "helping out". I'd imagine this help involves cooking/baking and maybe some decorating.

I know already that the hostess, according to the invite, receives a gift - should I pick up a gift for the six other women who are chipping in? And I'm sure some other women will be volunteering to help in some way because our circle enjoys baking and cooking so much - should I be keeping tabs on who brings what food to the party to send them a gift, too?

I'd hate to look ungrateful!

Gift for the host; maybe still a nice card for those that "chipped in" and a small gift card to like starbucks or jamba juice to just acknowledge the extra time they gave.

I don't think you need to be worried about who brought a casserole and who didn't.  I'd get a gift for MOH and if there are certain other ladies you *know* helped plan do something small like erinlin mentioned.

I would get a gift for the hosts. Probably all of the women you listed honestly. And for other's who say bring a fruit tray, just make sure to thank them when you send your thank you notes.

I had this same situation happen for a baby shower this year. The mom's two SIL's where the "official" hosts (coordinated everything, bought the entree's, made the favors, sent the invites) and then all of the girls who had been the mom's bridesmaids brought a side dish item. W.e did not get hostess gifts and I don't think they were needed- a nice note in the thank you card was pleanty.
