I was reading through my contract for our reception venue with my mother, and noted that all vendors are required to have proof of insurance or liability before they are allowed to unload anything on the premises. This is not due to the reception venue until a few weeks/months prior to the event, but I just sent an email out asking my vendors to send it to me now (so I won't have to worry about it later.)
Just wanted to share - read your contracts and see if you have any similar requirements. I think I would be crazed if the morning of I realized that a vendor wasn't allowed to set up due to lack of this proof! Ah!
