How long to keep registry?

I believe etiquette says guests have a year to send a bride and groom a gift, right? With that being said how long should a registry be available for?

usually websites leave them up for a year after your wedding. There is no reason to manually take it down

I agree. Leave it up as many families will also reference the registry for birthday, anniversary, holiday, etc. following the wedding.
