Hair and Make Up Dilemma

Hi all,

I wanted to book Harmony for the wedding but she does not work Sundays. She did suggest another artist but she is slow to respond as of yet.

I'm talking to Desert Glamour but she cannot do my trial the night before, only on Friday early morning, and I have to go to her salon for that, when I want to be drinking by the pool

For those of you that had trials, did they come to you?
Anyone here get married on a Sunday and have their trial on Saturday?
Would I be crazy to forgo the trial and just get my hair and makeup done at PH for the night before wedding festivities? I'm probably just going to go for a blow out.
And finally, any other air brush HMUA recos? Especially if you know they work on Sunday.

My wife used Francesca and loved her, had her come back on our 1st anniv trip too.  She did the trial Friday afternoon and wedding Saturday, both in room.  My wife recommends having a trial AND doing some photos after the trial because sometimes things look different in photos than in the mirror and you may want to have things changed on wedding day as a result.

I would be willing to have the trial on Friday if we can do it later in the day and if she'll come to me. I imagine Saturdays in April will be booked up with wedding day appointments.

Im doing my trial on the Friday with Muse Artistry. I was really conscious of not taking up saturday time so that other brides could get those time slots.

I did not have a trial but my hmua offered to come to ur hotel ( most i researched did). I would reccomend having a trial bc i didnt based on "yelp reviews" and my hmua did a crap job on my hair and i was unhappy with makeup, (do not book sincity makeup by leila!) she doesnt really do hair she just advertised she did and didnt know how to do it but yes have a trial even if it needs to be 2 days b4 the wedding, just do it bc u will not have time to fix hair/makeup u dont like! hope u find someone great! Go by reviews on this board bc sometimes those "yelp" reviews are all bs and the hmua trying to boost their name with all 5 stars!

Heard from Desert Glamour again. She said she could come to me for a $75 fee at 3pm Friday. Think I might go for that but ask if she could come at 4 or 5. This way I'll get my trial at Planet Hollywood and have plenty of time to enjoy the day. Friday night will be my Get Drunk Night so I might as well look good! Thinking I might get my hair blown out and makeup done at the PH salon on Saturday for the m&g and DDB.
