Wedding announcement in newspaper . . .

Appropriate or not?  We did not announce our engagement, but would like people (especially those who still think I'm married to my ex after five years) to know that I'm remarried.  What's the etiquette on that?

    You do what you want. If you want to shout it from the mountain tops or your local newspaper then do it! My fiance's mother has been bugging us for a picture to make the engagement announcement. So once we get our epics done we will do that! lmao!
