RSVP issues

Ok Brides..how do you handle it when your invites are addressed to Mr. & Mrs. only and the rsvps come back including their children. Guests did not verify whether they could bring their children. This has happened with quite a few of our guests. Not sure how to handle this politely.

Elbecko hit it right on the head! 

You should be firm but polite and explain that their child was not invited due to capacity/budget.  Some people may not come but it is rude to RSVP for more people than were stated on the invitation.
