good afternoon, everyone! i'm having a bit of trouble finding a venue for this BOMB wedding after-party that i'm planning.
my fiance and i both have relatively small families/social circles. we're having a non-traditional wedding in that we're having a small, likely outdoor ceremony with immediate family & a reception/after-party combo for those family members & friends. we'd like to celebrate with everyone and spare them the mushy ceremony step.
so the trouble is, we'd like to do a chinese wish lantern launch outside along with a champagne toast, then move everyone indoors or to a pavilion for a non-stop dance party. problem, i'm having trouble finding a place in/near nashville with an (affordable) open outdoor area that would accommodate the lanterns which also happens to be connected to or include a great dance party area. any ideas or suggestions?
