Cheap/Free Bridal Shower Venues in OKC metro area???

I am the MOH in my best friends wedding. I am trying to plan a bridal shower for August, but I am having a difficult time finding a place that is a decent price that will also allow us to bring our own food in...any suggestions?? I would prefer the downtown area..but anywhere in the OKC metro would be okay.

My MOH hosted our shower in a public library for a $25 rental.  It was in Noble, OK but you might find similar pricing for places like libraries and city halls here in the Metro area.  Yeah, they aren't the most beautiful places in the world, but they'll most likely have enough tables, chairs and don't care if you cater.  I think the library she hosted ours at even had a kitchen, which is always a plus for these types of events.  Plus for a shower, in my opinion, the beauty of the venue doesn't really matter, just the ability for people to get together and have a good time.

Another idea...
It might be too hot in August, but what about a 10:00 AM shower in a park with a pavilion for the food?  Parks are free, beautiful, and don't care how many people you have or what you're doing as long as it is legal.  OKC Park Locations:  https://www.okc.gov/parks/parks_maps/index.html

One more question, are they having their wedding at a church?  If so and it is a church one of them is a member of, it would most likely be free to have their shower there.  If they aren't a member, you could consult with the church's secretary to see if they will allow you to use the church facilities for the shower as well.  It's worth a shot.
