Catering - Traditional or Non-Traditional Reccomendations?

We're trying to find a caterer for our Sunday Fall wedding. We did a tasting with Pigeon but were not impressed. Any caterer suggestions other than Pigeon or Capdeboscq? Anyone have experience with using a local restaurant to caterer their wedding?

    We chose New Orleans Catering and were very happy with our tasting.  We had a tasting with Pigeon as well.

    We used handsome catering and the food was delicious. We went a little more casual with the food that we chose (pulled ginger beer pork and abita braised beef poboys, mac n cheese, pasta primavera, gumbo, etoufee, etc.) and everything turned out great. They have alot of higher end options and carving station options as well and their prices were better than everyone else we got quotes from. They operate out of the kitchen at Handsome Willie's bar downtown...they do free food on Friday nights if you want to check them out before doing a formal tasting.
