Thus far, I've found three potential DJ companies in my area. One of them is highly recommended by the venue we've chosen and has rave reviews posted on TK and elsewhere. Their DJs go for $1250 for up to 5 hours, which is at the very top of our budget. The other two go for $800 and $500 for the same amount of time, but I haven't seen any reviews of those places either way. All three promise to work with you on your requests for the evening. It'd be great to save money, but I'm also wondering if the HUGE differences in pricing for the same amount of time should be a red flag. We really want people dancing throughout the party and the best weddings I've been to have all had awesome DJs. Is it taking a risk to go with the one of the cheaper options?
