    Oh my god ... guys, the ring is PERFECT. I am so upset that my partner already hid it from me and I can't see it again until we're engaged! As soon as I came home tonight from rehearsal, I asked to look at it again, and he wouldn't let me :(

    It's just absolutely exactly what we wanted, and yet we were still really surprised at what it looked like. My partner's face totally lit up when he saw it; he doesn't usually get visibly excited about a lot of things, but he really loves the ring as much as I do.

    No pictures until it's official, but I'll tell ya: medium blue-green round sapphire, very plain bezel setting, and a split shank with a tiny bit of filigree inside the split shank.

    AAAAAH I wanna see it again
