Ladies: question about bra for strapless dress!

So I go for my first fitting in September and was told to make sure I bring my shoes and bra that I plan on wearing with the dress. I already bought my shoes but now I'm wondering about what bra to get. I always buy from Victoria's secret. I used to work there about 5 years ago and remember brides coming in asking about these body suits to wear under their dress
Not sure if they still sell them. Anyone care to share what they are using and if any of you know about the body suits at VS.
Thanks! :)

Im going to try and get a bra/cups sewn into my dress so that im a bit more comfortable. Strapless bras always move around when I wear them.

I know I have the same exact problem! I'll ask about that when I go for my fitting. It has a corset so I would think that would add support too!

I'm wearing a longline bra by Dominique. My dilemma is I'm taking my dress in to be altered this weekend and I can't hook my bra by myself. So do I have my FI help me and wear it there, or be slightly embarrassed and have her help me?

I'm getting one made to ensure the girls stay put!  The place I bought my dress referred me to them...I think they are local to Phoenix though, so probably won't help you much.  I'm so worried about them falling out while I'm dancing!

When I bough my dress it has a bra built into it.  If I need extra support I will have cups sewn in.  Although, let's be honest, I am not blessed in the chest area so I don't need that much support!

I wore the one in the link below, I tried on quite a few and this was by far the most supportive. http://us.asos.com/Wonderbra-A-F-Ultimate-Strapless-Padded-Bra/smmkb/?iid=771741&r=1&mk=na&mporgp=Lw..

She can do it for you. She's used to zipping people up!

And I agree on getting it sewn in if possible. Strapless bras always move around and leave me with uncomfortable weird lines at the end of the night.

I am wearing a strapless bra from VS. I bought it last year in white, but this is pretty close to it: http://www.victoriassecret.com/bras/shop-by-size/plunge-multi-way-bra-very-sexy?ProductID=131379&CatalogueType=OLS

I wore to my dress shopping appointment and it is prefect with my dress :)

@kikimira I think that is the exact same one I have but its really worn out. I'll probably go tomorrow to just try on a few :) I'm hoping to get one sewn into the dress but if not I'll be heading back to VS.

I had another dress fitting last night.  My alterations woman sewed cups into the dress and it was great - - but I have a halter top dress, so there is the additional support from the straps. Plus, I'm not overly blessed in the chest department, so it worked out fine.  Very comfortable, I have to say!

I went to a local shop that specialises in bras.  They measured and fitted me and I got heaps to choose from.  I ended up choosing a basque that holds everything in place but isn't restricting.  I even jumped around and sat down for a while in the dressing room :-)

I bought unbra from my dress shop...I've worn it several times already and it sticks to the skin rally good- and you can choose how much or how little cleavage you want.  I bought it for $50 at the dress shop but found it way cheaper on amazon.
