Ceremony/reception venue ideas..HELP!!

I live in Peru Illinois....about 90 miles west of Chicago.  My finance and I are really struggling on finding something nearby...different and outdoor.  I absolutely do NOT want to do a banquet buffet gross reception dinner.  We both agree that we want to do the ceremony outside and would LOVE to have a tent outside for the reception.  But brainstorming where is the problem.  Anyone out there have any suggestions???

    What about Starved Rock or the other state park down there? Not sure your wedding size and things like that. I live in the Chicago area so sorry I cannot be much more help.

    Or the canal boat Cafe if your having a smaller wedding. There's a park across the canal.
