12 person reception dinner

Any suggestions for a 12 person dinner? Most places have a 25 person minimum, so I'm kinda lost on where to book.

We were a group of ten @ Wicked Spoon. We just made a reservation and signed a contract. If we wanted we could have had a private room.

Bouchon will host a smaller group in a private room. So will Maggianos.

This is what I found when looking for a private room for 11:

Aria - Jean George's (seats 12) and Sirio (seats 18), both have a $1500 minimum.

Bouchon's minimum is $1,200, table of 14

Scarpetta at Cosmo seats 12 $2000 minimum

Sinatra at Wynn has a room for up to 16, minimum is $2,000

Canaletto Il Moro room, no minimum

You would also need to add 20% service and 8.1% tax to these minimums.

What about Twist at the Mandarin Oriental?  Their private room accommodates up to 16 people and looks amazing.

I had my wedding dinner in the Point Room @Bouchon. The food was amazing and the service impeccable.

I vote Canaletto. They have private rooms to fit any size, we had 6 people and it was amazing.

my reception dinner is for 12 people and i booked Maggiano's. First they offered me a private room but due to our small budget we choose to book a table on the main dinning room .... I was told that a table on the main dinning room can seat up to 20 people.

Thanks for the suggestion! When I do it this way, it's only $23.95 per person. This is exactly what I was looking for! I didn't even think to do this even though I looked into Maggianos (for a private room).
