We just submitted our application and deposit for Promontory Point in Hyde Park for October 4th, 2014!
We wanted fall for the changing leaves and all the colors. But now I'm worried about temperature since it's October on the lake and a lot of our reception will be on the outside patios: dancing, cocktail hour/open bar, maybe even tables for dinner depending on how many guests come.
Will space heaters on the patios be enough to keep warm?? I hope it wasn't a bad idea to book lakeside in October!! (all of September was booked).
