My son just moved to NYC and we are planning to visit for Thanksgiving. A coworker gave me a great recommendation for a restaurant for brunch that morning and great parade viewing (they did this before). However, when I checked into the parade route for 2013 it has changed and is no longer going down 7th which is where the restaurant is. I was hoping someone might have a recommendation for something similar on the parade route. According to the website the parade begins at 77th and Central Park W. to Columbus Circle, Central Park south, and veers south on 6th and travels between 59th and 34th. Anyone know of a place that would be doing breakfast/brunch that morning and would have good viewing of the parade? Thanks!
