To get extensions or not to get extensions...

I'm having a debate with myself about whether or not I should get the sew in extensions for my wedding in March. My hair is currently at just below shoulder length but is growing at the speed of molasses. I want to have my hair partially down for the wedding as my dress has a partial open back (large diamond shaped opening) and would love large curls but my hair would still be too short for it.

Would getting extensions be a good idea or bad? Help!!!!!

I work for a beauty supply company and I would personally recommend the clip in extensions.  You can use them over and over after the wedding, and much cheaper.  I ended up getting two sets for me.  Now to just see which color I like best to use on that day.  I also am having mine half up and half down.  They are perfect for it! (hint: look on Ebay. Mine came from China) I think you have time still to look around.

I feel like 6 months may be enough time for it to grow. I was in the same situation and curling definitely makes it so much shorter.

I am doing clip in extensions. I bought a nice set made of real hair and was able to use them at the trail run as well. Unless you are planning on leaving them in for weeks, you shouldn't need to do the sew-in ones.

Definitely get some clip in extensions. Expensive ones are well worth it. You don't want to get them sewn in for one day, it's a hassle and can be painful. Plus, your stylist can place them how she wants that specifically works for your style the day of. I have long hair as it is, but I'm using clip ins for thickness. You won't regret it!
