Up or down with a short dress

Would love some unbiased opinions on my wedding hair.

Background:  I'm getting married in December in a short dress (hopefully the attachment works) with a bling-y sash (instead of the one shown in the stock photo). I'm not wearing a veil. The wedding is going to be an intimate affair (less than 25 guests) in a champagne cellar at 6:00pm. I've got *extremely* thick hair that will tend to frizz over time even with the best of products (it's got natural curl/wave).

Half up/half down? Simple up do/sleek pony? Something else?

In normal life would say I wear my hair down 70% of the time, up 30% of the time. Would describe my style as simple/understated/classic.

I would do a simple updo. Classic low side buns are really in right now and they never fail to look classic and stunning! And especially if you have thick hair that tends to frizz, I would want that out of my face and off my shoulders. You won't have to worry about taming it this way.
