Need help with BM dresses!!!

So I have ordered my wedding dress but I am having difficulty deciding what type of bridesmaid dresses will match. My colors are dark grey, light blue (tiffany blue), and white. The wedding will be an evening wedding in June. Before picking my wedding dress I had in mind short dresses but now I am not to sure it will fit well. Here is a picture of my dress:

How formal is the rest of your wedding?

Do you know your BMs dress budgets yet?

The bridesmaid dresses don't really have to match your dress, so don't worry about that.

We need more info before we can start throwing ideas out there. What's their budget? Do you want long or short (I'd recommend short)? What types of fabric do you think (chiffon maybe since it's summer)?

I will say that I'd go for the dark gray over the Tiffany blue - dark gray is more likely to be a re-wearable color and the blue has been done A LOT lately.

Dress budget is $150, and I would prefer chiffon dresses. I am stuck between short or long dresses I wasn't sure if short dresses would work well with a ball gown dress. It is a summer wedding in Texas so it will be hot but the wedding and reception will take place inside and all in one location. I was not planning on the wedding to be to formal.

Your BM dresses depend more on the formality of your wedding, than the style of your wedding dress.

Evening weddings are usually more fomal than daytime weddings. Judging by that and your colour selection, I'm guessing it's a formal affair, so I'd recommend going for the dark grey. You can bring the tiffany blue in in accessories (sashes, scarves/pashminas, ribbons on the bouquets etc) if you really want to see it on your BP. Formal doesn't necessarily have to mean long dresses. It's more about silhouette than length. Go short if you want (I'm sure your BP will thank you in the hot weather), but don't go micro-mini if you're trying for formal.
