Inexpensive Wedding Venue Help In South Florida

I need HELP! I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm trying to plan a wedding in South Florida for next September! (My family and my fiance's family live in South Florida) Its very hard to find a perfect venue when you live in another state. I am on a tight budget. I would like the wedding ceremony to by outside, the reception inside (ballroom would be nice) I'm looking for a hidden gem. PLEASE HELP!

The cities I am looking at: Stuart, Boca Raton, Delray, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood Beach, Fort Myers, Hollywood - Seminole Indian reservation, Miami, Naples. I'm trying to be as broad as possible.

Where I'm having my reception is 3k for the venue but you can come in with everything else. I don't know if that is what you're looking for. It is a ballroom, it's called Kings Point located in Delray.

It also depends on the number of guests.  If you are at 80, or fewer, I highly recommend Bimini Boatyard in Fort Lauderdale.  They have a lovely pier on the water for ceremony and the party room is easy to decorate. Also, the food, 3 courses, does not generally cost more than $30.00-35.00 per person. As for the bar, you can either pay by the drink or pay for wine service at the tables.

My own wedding is onboard the Majestic Princess, and with 70 guests, is running @ $8000, including upgrades, open bar, and includes the DJ, tables, chairs, linens, etc. However, it's defintely not for everyone.

Try my venue, the old davie school house. They have two outdoor ceremony locations & a indoor location for the reception. It's really reasonable & beautiful.

My ceremony is in a park, fern forest and reception is at the nob hill club house in ft lauderdale. Both venues are less than $1400

the lake worth casino building is nice it was my first choice but wasnt avail on my date. in sept I believe they are off season and the building is about 1100 to rent for just about the entire day... it over looks the beach and is beautiful... the palm beach shores community center is also nice but its a little more costly 2100 and you have to use one of their preferred venders for your food but it is also right on the beach... good luck
