January 4th Bridal Shower

My sister is throwing me a bridal shower and asked me when she should send out invitation. I seriously have no idea. Is it still the standard 6 weeks or less? Should she send them a little early due to holidays?

A couple of weeks before the RSVP date will suffice.  ^As it was already said, one month or so should be fine.

I think mine were sent about a month prior.  With the holidays right before, end of Nov/first week of Dec should be fine to still not get shuffled with holiday mail.
