How much for ceremony musicians

I'm getting married at a private residence in Saratoga, CA in august.  We are planning to get a string trio from the SF conservatory for $690 for two hours.

Has anyone found a better deal than this?

    Im looking for the same exact thing, need a trio for 2 hours. Im running into the same problem :(

    Yeah, I checked with pros who do this regularly, and they are around $800 for two hours.  I think it is just tough to get in cheaper in the bay area.

    Did you try gigmasters.com?  You may find something cheaper there.

    ditto gigmasters!  i started using that site, but we ended up asking our friends to do it instead.  i got better pricing than $650 on gigmasters tho.  try it!
