Where can I set up a tent for my reception?

I am hoping to gather some ideas for places where I may be able to bring in a tent, caterer, music etc. I love the idea of having a unique outdoor wedding and being next to water, however I know that is sparse in the Columbus area.

I have checked some state parks as an option and just wondered if anyone else out there had come across some land where you can throw a reception in the Columbus area?

    Did you check with the city of Columbus? The whittier pennisula has awesome views of the city. Also, I think you can get a permit to hold an event in any city park. The topiary garden might be a good one to look at.

    You can set up a tent at North Bank Park in Downtown as well as Everal Barn in Westerville just to name a couple.
