Venue Helpp!!! CT/MA/NH

This has been the HARDEST thing yet -- finding the right venue.

My Fiance and I have decided what theme/style wedding we want - vintage/olde. We looked at the Society Room in Hartford, and it was perfect, but not within our budget. I've looked at other estates, historic places, etc. and still can not find the right venue that just makes me scream THIS IS IT!!!

My family is mainly out of CT, while my Fiance's family is mainly from MA - but...him n I live in NH (bordering MA).

I didnt know where to post this, so any help would be AMAZING!

I believe I found these by searching MA venues on here and setting the search parameters to $$ (as opposed to $$$ or $$$$).

I also know that Historic New England rents out some of their historic homes (you've probably looked at these but just in case):

Our friends got married last summer at the Amherst Women's Club - it's a historic feeling home that might give you that vibe that you're looking for! I'm not sure what their capacity is - they had their cocktail hour indoors/outdoor on the patio, and then there was a tent where the reception/dinner was held. Good luck!

have you looking into Old Sturbirge village? You get married in the meeting house and every thing! My friend is getting married their in march and we are all very excited. Also there is the Publik house and the asturbride host Hotel ( which is where my vintage wedding will be in 2013) !

Did you check out the Sturbridge Host. We just booked there, our family is located the same as yours. The outdoors was nice and the hotel had a really nice feel to it. Price was reasonable too, their website is terrible, its worth the drive to check it out.
