In Response to Re: It's evening. : I always worry that I'm going to find a snake in my bed.  Which doesn't make sense, because we hardly have snakes around here.  But yup, I wouldn't like that one bit either. I have some of the strangest fears.

My cousin kept pet snakes.  They got loose once when he was away at school and my aunt couldn't find them.  She finally found one curled up on a pile of towels in the linen closet.  The other one, she woke up one night to find it on the pillow next to her head.  She screamed and woke my uncle up to get it back in it's terarrium (sp?)

I'm more paranoid about a centipede or spider hiding under the rim of the toilet bowl, and crawling onto my butt while I'm sitting there.

I absolutely read "into my butt."  I was like....ummmm....alright then. I'm laughing at Hoesville.  Back when it was cool to call stupid things "gay" my city was nicknamed Gaycine.  So....yeah.  WHO COMES UP WITH THESE THINGS?!

  • I just started watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents. I haven't seen it in ages, and I forgot just how messed up it is.

  • J&K - did you grow up in MN or in the neighbor to the East?

  • I have twice pulled back the covers in bed and had a big ass spider on my leg. Freaking spiders.

This is so so so much not ok.  One of my clients has a snake.  They keep its stupid terrarium on the DINING ROOM TABLE.  I want to die every time I go in that house.

I love Hitchcock! I always have fun trying to spot him in his movies. Sometimes his appearance is really subtle, like a picture of him in a frame way off in the background.

hahahaha omg into my butt, that would be even more terrifying. Isn't it stupid what people come up with? Though, to be fair, hoesville was pretty well earned. We also had a corner of one of the hallways that was nicknamed "Compton Corner" ....

Our high school should probably have been nicknamed hoesville.  I'm laughing at you though :-p

Loops, that's funny!  I wonder if I know them...haha probably not, but that would be super weird.   I don't think I knew anyone with snakes.

She's just about to get on the toilet, and body parts float up from the pipe into the toilet. She shrieks. Cue theme song.

  • I'm almost done sorting my puzzle pieces, and I don't feel like I have nearly enough edge pieces.

  • Random question time. I'm knitting this purse. I chose a yellow yarn called "cornmeal." The color isn't bright or neon or anything. It looks like cornmeal.  Can I use this purse in the spring/summer, or do I need to wait until fall/winter? If I wait, is the color not right? I should have put more thought into it before starting.

I am so not cool with bugs on me. At all.
  • Oh Special, you're thinking way too hard.  I think it's fine.

I'm pretty sure I would have some bowel issues if I saw an eyeball float up right before I sat down.

  • J&K - I think they're a few years older than you are.  It would be funny though.

Wrigley - I watched all of the seasons of Bones from the beginning cause I wanted to see how they got together, and they did like NO development of that story whatsoever.. I was so pissed I wasted like 3 1/2 weeks watching 7 seasons on Bones on Netflix for no payoff.  Just Wham - fall into bed, now they're pregnant and together.  Where were the awkward moments?  The Bones being rediculous cause she doesn't know how to have a relationship moments?

I think it could go either way. I think buttery yellow is more spring-y, and more gold-y yellow for fall, and it kinda sounds like it falls in between.
