Dear H's employer,

Suck it. Seriously, how do you justify sending H to work 14-hour days for 17 days straight without ANY compensation of any kind?? He is going to go insane! In case you can't do math, he has been traveling 60% of the time, but his contract states less than 25% travel. Fuuck you.

    I appreciate that the tubes have an awkward optical illusion going on, but I'm not draining you dry, so you don't have to keep telling me you're going to need a blood transfusion or an iron infusion from all of the blood I'm taking from you. I hear it every. single. day. and it's getting very annoying.

    And by the way, I just took 22.5 mL. In layman's terms, that's four and a half teaspoons. I think your hemoglobin's gonna be just fine, home slice.

    Dude I seriously love seeing other people speak languages I don't understand, so if you need to like... get your Latin on, Facebook message me or PM me. I love seeing the Latin with English translations because I like seeing how the grammar works and seeing if there are any cognates. I LOVE LANGUAGE D:!!!

    Please re-institute my BF's health insurance that you cancelled because of a funding switch. He is on his last bottle of insulin, and it won't last until you get your act together in late September.  I'm glad this is okay for other students who I imagine were affected by the same switch, but my BF could die because of your inability to get your act together and do your job.  Also, I'm pretty sure what you're doing is illegal.

    I hate dumb people.  You know what I hate more?  Dumb people riding scooters or motorcycles who (a) are probably not licenced, (b) are not wearing safety gear (and pobably don't even know what documentation they should be carrying to make no helmet legal), and (c) seem to think that a full-sized scooter can be ridden on the sidewalk.  I have also seen you before riding in the bike lane.  Learn the laws - you are not a pedestrian or a bicycle, and one day, when you hit a cyclist or a runner (probably me, based on the number of times I've seen you), wearing that self-satisfied, smug little grin and your iPod earphones, I will cry for their families and laugh as they haul you away for manslaughter.  This sin't just a traffic violation - it's a severe safety hazard.

    Latin is the cool language to take at my high school too...  but only because I'm the teacher. I throw stuffed animals at my kids (well, not AT them, but to them, usually, though I did hit a girl in the face once) and use cat toys all the time. My dignity is long gone.

    Anyone want to be American Sign Language pen pals? I studied that in HS and could use the practice. ;)

    I WISH so much that I knew another language. I've said repeatedly that that was one of my next life goals: learn another language. Like I love the sound of French, maybe I'll pick up some phrases while in St. Martin in 12 days. TWELVE days til I leave the country for the first time in 8 years!
