Escort Cards

How should escort cards be organized on the table? By table number? By guests last names? Please help!

    Alphabetically by last name, then first.

    I think this makes the most sense and it also what my venue requested

     Sidenote - where are you finding escort cards?  I don't like the perforated ones that you print out.  I just want tented ones that I can handwrite, although lately I've thought about attaching them to an ornament or jingle bell since ours is before right after Thanksgiving.  Any help would  be nice!

    Some people do by table, but I prefer alphabetically.

    To Marissa_Claire-- most paper stores have them-- I got my plain ivory ones at Paper-Source for about $6 for 50. They are a little bigger than I was picturing though.  I'm sure I could have found them cheaper but PS is close and convenient. Michals/AC Moore have them as well, but I didn't care for their designs as much. I think they have some that match the Bride's line of invitations, which were nice but didn't match our other decor.

    Try vistaprint, they have these folded business cards that are the same size as tented escort cards.
