How Many Readings?

What is a normal amount of readings in a secular wedding ceremony? We were thinking of 2-4, but didn't know if that would be too short/long of a ceremony?

    As of now I only have one happening and the unity sand..we might ask someone else to read but super long ceremonies can be boring too...Most people want to mingle, party LoL
     Depending on the lengths I would keep it under 4 for sure!
