football/tailgating question

There is a game tomorrow afternoon. As of yesterday, people are starting to camp out in public areas around the stadium to save their spot for tailgating.

Are these people going to sleep outside overnight? That seems like a bit much. Urban camping

I don't understand sports people.

Are they from Marshall?  Those people are serious tailgaters.

Probably.  I know in previous places I've lived some of the tailgaters would do that.

And they were also usually the people who didn't even have tickets to the game.  They spend the entire game in the parking lot.

TD-they're fair weather football fans.  LAME.

I've tailgated exactly once, which was the only time I'd ever been to a football game. It was rainy, so I sat in the car the whole time. Awesome.

An experience I wish to never repeat.

    LSU fans perfected tailgating.

They would park campers in the parking lot, and cook gumbo and jambalaya. I lost count how many times people would give me food walking to class. They know how to do it, right.

Our university locally doesn't allow to stay overnight.

I just drove by, and now the tents are there (lowered, so they don't go sweeping down the plains) and nobody is in them.
