I never said that. You are not taking the time to read what I said clearly. What I said was that the wedding day details don't matter. Obviously I booked vendors and an officiant and got a marriage license. But I didn't worry about matching colors, signature drinks and the like. I had a nice wedding. A wedding where I married my best friend. THAT is what matters. Nothing else. You clearly are just looking to gain some higher ground here, and it's not going to happen.

Now Amy, if you will please insert foot A into mouth B, that would be great. Thanks.

and also since my WP had uneven sides my marriage was invalid.

OP - No one here was rude. Not even remotely close to it. Grow some backbone, get your priorities straight and no a wedding isn't all about planning....it's about the MARRIAGE that comes later.

I don't think its about ruining someones happeness (actually, its not at all about ruining happeness). There are many posts on these forums where brides to be are wrapped up in their own little worlds and need someone to give them a little push back into reality. I am not saying that your issue is a lack of being in the real world. People here are just honest.
