great cast, great potential for a good movie. stupid fricken story line.
i don't care that this is a spoiler - i don't believe that someone would pine over someone for three full years after they shared a brief 5 minutes together. not for one minute. i especially don't believe that a good looking, popular, smart, hard working political candidate would not have any opportunity to meet any other women at all. are people that quick to give up a guaranteed future presidency for someone they haven't seen in three years, nor are they guaranteed to be in a lasting relationship?
watch it if you must, especially if you're a matt damon fan. but it's another stupid movie. i rewrote it in my head this morning.
