2nd wedding, needing simple venue, not too expensive.

My fiance lives in Lees Summit, I live in Olathe so we are willing to do anywhere in between or downtown, midtown, etc.  We just arent interested in going up to North Kansas City.  We are getting married June 1st and just decided this so the "normal" places will be booked.  Anyone have an idea of something unique and fairly inexpensive?

    I spent a lot of time looking into downtown options and was pretty disappointed. However, we eventually found the Junior Service League of Independence's clubhouse. It's really nice and only $100 per hour on a Friday or Saturday, or $1000 for a 16 hour day. I don't know for sure that they would be open on your date, but the place is really nice. They provide chairs and tables and have a ton of lighting options and a decent kitchen for the caterer.

    The clubhouse seats 150 guests.
