Tasting

We have our tasting in 3 weeks. It's a group tasting at the site. Our coordinator said it would be like a cocktail party. What would you wear? I don't want to be too dressy but I don't want to go underdressed. Would black pants and nice shirt be okay or would you go with a skirt or sundress w/cardigan? Those are the ideas I have. Thanks!

I would do either, both sound nice! I have fun at the tasting!

I wore a pencil skirt, blouse, and black leggings to my tasting.

In all honesty though, I saw people there in jeans and sweaters.

Amer, That's what I'm worried about. I feel like it's a nice place (Inn at Penn) so I think it would be appropriate to look nice. We're bringing my parents and FI's parents along as well so I figure I would wear what I usually would for dinner out with the family.

I think both would be appropriate. We are getting married a country club and when we had our tasting I wore black pants with a nice shirt -- something like what I would wear into my office. I did see other people in jeans though.
