I posted this on my club board, too, but I HAD to share with my vintage knotties!
So I've been working on my favors all afternoon and thought I'd post a pic. When each lady is seated, the usher will give her a little white box that contains a sandalwood fan (LOVE the way these smell!). The fan has a little card attached that has Victorian flirtation instructions. For those of you unaware of the custom, Victorians had strict courtship rituals that limited contact between the sexes. Fan signals were created so that people could flirt/give messages on the sly.  Example: handle to lips = kiss me, dropping = friendship only. I thought that this would keep the ladies cool & occupied till the ceremony starts. 

I had to fold up the cards so that they'd fit in the boxes. They have a detailed frame around them.
